The footbridge that currently crosses the railway line will remain in place as part of the station site development, as it provides a public right of way access across the line from Farmer Ward Road to Priory Road. However, the footpath will need to be closed for a period of time to enable essential demolition works to be carried out on site. Warwickshire County Council has been granted permission to close the footpath for these works any time from Monday 16 February onwards, but will not close it until the demolition works are due to take place. The footpath will then be re-opened as soon as it is safe to do so. There will be further updates when the works are due to commence with confirmed details of the timescales for closure, with the aim of keeping disruption to a minimum.
