Temporary footpath diversion (pdf, 666Kb)

The public right of way footpath that crosses the railway line between Farmer Ward Road and Priory Road needs to be temporarily closed for 20 days from Tuesday 7 April until Tuesday 27 April whilst essential demolition works adjacent to the path are completed on the rail station site. Warwickshire County Council has been granted permission to close the footpath for these works to ensure the safety of pedestrians and apologises for any inconvenience caused. The footpath will re-open as soon as it is safe to do so and the aim is to keep disruption to a minimum. A suggested diversion route for pedestrians during the closure is Priory Road, Whateley’s Drive, Spring Lane, Whitemoor Road and Farmer Ward Road (and vice versa).
